Mexico cuts drug trial approvals to 30 days, draws $643 million in pharma investment

COFEPRIS reduced clinical trial authorization from 120 to 30 days as of the Scientific Conference 2026. Boehringer Ingelheim, Bayer, AstraZeneca, and Camber-Amarox committed more than US$643 million to manufacturing and research over the past 14 months, citing regulatory speed.
